She graduated from Massachusetts vocational where she received a four year degree in carpentry.
Reading has always been Crystal’s love, but in 2010 she felt that a story needed to be told, so she wrote and released her first book called Shattered into Pieces. From then on she has found that writing is what she’s now most passionate.
Crystal’s been a member of St. Jude’s Hospital and continues to give to her community by donating to Sharing in Caring organization. She resides in Northern Georgia with her husband and kids.
Devyn Dawson is the pseudonym for Stefanie Dawson, a
former Craven County employee. Stefanie moved to New Bern from Oklahoma City in
the winter of 2003. After spending six
years working for the county, she left to pursue her dream to write a
book. She took a part-time job with the
local bookstore, and spent the following year writing The Legacy of
Kilkenny. She spent six more months
writing queries and receiving rejections.
After joining some writing groups on the social network Facebook, she
was approached about self-publishing.
She’d always considered self-publishing as a faux pas, she learned how
wrong she was. After publishing five
books, she has learned you can be a Amazon bestselling author if you put your
mind to it, and deliver a book to keep the fans wanting more. Her books have consistently stayed in best
selling categories on the Kindle website Amazon. Her young-adult paranormal romance series The
Light Tamer Trilogy takes place in New Bern.
Devyn’s young-adult werewolf series The Legacy of Kilkenny takes place
in her home state Oklahoma.
Stefanie is happily married to Mike Dawson, an
employee for the United States Air Force.
They met twenty years ago while he was an active duty airman. She has a daughter from a previous marriage
that lives in Raleigh. Her son graduated
from New Bern High School in 2012 and plans to join the United States
Navy. Before moving, Stefanie worked for
a Fortune 500 company as a Provider Relations Advocate. She has grown to love New Bern and the quaint
historical district. This next year
promises more books, including the final book in the Light Tamer Trilogy and a
standalone book in the new category New Adult.

She has a bachelor's in business and finance and a MBA. With only a few semesters left in school, Daniele started writing as a hobby, but it didn't take long for her to be consumed by her stories. That is her passion, and she now has several projects under way.
She enjoys reading and writing young adult novels with just about any sort of paranormal or supernatural bent...vampires... ghosts... She also enjoys watching hockey, playing rock band, guitar hero and spending time with the family.
I am a small town girl with big dreams. I grew up in a small
coastal community called Pamlico County in the town of Reelsboro, North
Carolina. Growing up in such a rural area there wasn't much to do, so I
developed a wide fantasy finding solace in writing poetry and songs.
After leaving high school I left my little secure coastal town to
discover other parts of the country using life as my teacher. It was a
sad and lonely time, but also a fun and exciting time in my life. I had
too many emotions to process so I started to put it all down on paper.
That became the start of my first novel, which I have yet to finish. A
few years later I wrote my first complete novel entitled Protector.
This novel was a dream come true, although I found out during the
process, at 31 years old, I am dyslexic. Reading was always a struggle
throughout my life and finding out why has really made a difference in
me and my writing. Writing was such a wonderful and daunting process,
but I have succeeded in doing something I never thought I would do.
I
have 4 novels published, Protect, Protect Me, Protect Us and Too Close
To Home, with many more on the way. Writing is such a passion of mine
and I hope my readers feel the love I put into my work.
